Making Friends with the Unknown

In my work, everything begins with the body. This work is not about collecting more information, learning more concepts, or trying to understand reality through the mind. It is about embodiment. It is about training the body and nervous system to release frozen energy held in rigidity, control, contraction, protection, and resistance. The mind wants to understand before it allows. The body learns by allowing. The mind wants certainty before it relaxes, while the body remembers freedom when it relaxes.

This work is about helping the nervous system remember its natural state of fluidity. It is about releasing the frozen energy that keeps us attached to old identities, old experiences, old fears, and old ways of perceiving reality. At its core, this work is about remembering the authentic self through the body. It is about remembering that we are simultaneously the creator, the created, and the creation. It is about sitting in existence itself and allowing existence to reveal itself through us.

The invitation is simple: to drop the need to know, the need to predict, the need to control, and the need to understand before allowing. Instead, we learn to relax into the unknown. We become friends with uncertainty, friends with mystery, and friends with the parts of ourselves that have not revealed themselves yet.

The unknown is not empty. The unknown contains undiscovered aspects of who we are. Every now reveals another aspect of ourselves. Every now reveals another possibility. Every now reveals another parallel reality. The beauty of life is not in knowing what comes next. The beauty of life is in discovering what comes next.

The more we become friends with the unknown, the more fluid we become. The more fluid we become, the more the nervous system remembers how reality actually works. Reality is not rigid. Reality is fluid, alive, and constantly revealing new aspects of itself. The physical mind believes it knows something, but in truth it knows very little. Everything the mind knows is a perspective, a conclusion, an interpretation, or a temporary viewpoint. So we let it go. We return to the now and allow the universe to express itself through us as its own unique perspective. We allow ourselves to follow the excitement through which our authentic self wants to express itself in this moment.

Attachment is an energetic connection to frequencies that have already been experienced. When we become attached to a person, an outcome, a goal, or a reality, we remain connected to the vibration associated with it. The cord remains active. Part of our energy remains invested there. Part of our attention remains invested there. Part of our identity remains invested there. Because the connection remains active, we continue experiencing variations of the same frequency.

Attachment keeps us connected to the past. Even when we believe we are attached to something in the future, we are often still connected to a frequency that originated in the past. This is why attachment can keep us experiencing familiar patterns and familiar realities. We are still connected to the energetic signature of what has already been experienced, and therefore we continue resonating with it.

Expectation creates a different cord. Expectation projects the current identity into the future. As a conscious being, whenever I expect a specific outcome, I send energy from my current frequency toward that outcome. The challenge is that existence may already be inviting me into a completely different frequency, a different identity, a different version of myself, and a different reality. But expectation keeps me sending energy from who I currently believe myself to be.

Attachment pulls energy toward the past, while expectation projects energy from the present. Both can prevent us from fully receiving what is trying to emerge. This is why letting go is so powerful. Not because desires are wrong and not because goals are wrong, but because freedom comes when we stop holding onto reality and start allowing reality to reveal itself.

A goal can provide direction. A desire can provide preference. But neither needs attachment, expectation, or control. We simply allow them to point us toward a frequency and then release them. We allow existence to guide us toward the version of ourselves that naturally embodies that frequency. We allow our identity to shift, we allow ourselves to move, and we allow ourselves to evolve.

As we do this, we stop sending energetic cords into past realities and current realities. We become whole. We move as a complete being rather than a fragmented one. We are no longer divided, nor are we partially invested in multiple realities at the same time. Instead, we become whole, present, available, and embodied.

This is important because we are moving beyond linearity. We are moving beyond the idea of one timeline, one path, and one sequence. We are moving through parallel realities, and every now reveals another hidden aspect of who we are. That is the beauty of existence. Life becomes a surprise every now.

The body learns to relax into surprise. The nervous system learns to relax into movement. The body learns to trust the unfolding. Instead of tightening around change, it softens into change. Instead of resisting uncertainty, it welcomes uncertainty. Instead of fearing the unknown, it becomes curious about the unknown. What once felt unsafe begins to feel exciting. What once felt uncertain begins to feel natural. What once felt unknown begins to feel like home.

As this happens, energy begins to move through the body like a river. Frozen energy melts. Rigidity softens. Contraction opens. The nervous system remembers. The body remembers. The authentic self remembers. We begin to experience reality from a completely different state of being, not because we have figured it out, but because we have relaxed enough to allow it.

Trust is not built through prediction. Trust is built through experience. Trust is built by moving forward, following our highest excitement with the best of our ability in the now, and discovering again and again that life continues to reveal exactly what is needed. Through direct experience, the body learns that uncertainty is not danger. The nervous system learns that the unknown is not something to fear. It learns that life can be trusted, that existence can be trusted, and that we can relax into the unfolding of reality.

So we make friends with the unknown. We relax into uncertainty. We release attachment, expectation, prediction, and the need to know. We allow life to surprise us. We allow reality to reveal us to ourselves. We allow existence to express itself through us. We allow the body to relax into the unfolding, the nervous system to remember its natural fluidity, and energy to move freely through us. In doing so, we allow the journey to become light, fluid, joyful, abundant, and free.
